I am trying to do an update of my HA supervisor. It fails every time. See attached msgs. Never had any issues with updates till now. Any ideas? See error msgs and info below.
Btw, After a couple of attempts to update Supervisor, the system becomes unresponsive and requires a reboot.
May be you can tell what hardware you have HA installed on?
IS there any detailed info on this error???

Neither of those seem related to my config. AM I missing it?

Does something like ping google.com work?
Sometimes a simple
ha supervisor repair
ha host reboot
can fix things.
I tried the repair and restart several times. No difference. I will check those logs.
Update Core First, or/and OS
Okay, The dedicated PC is running what OS and version? You say it is a not a VM, so a flat install then correct? From the error messages you first posted look similar to it being a Synology or other NAS type system issue that @Impact posted about. So be very specific about the details so the community can get to back up and running.
That is not helpful at all. What I want is make & model of the PC, it could be a NUC or similar device. Is that running a OS like Windows 1X, Linux, MacOS.
What processor (Intel, AMD, M? if Mac). Did you do a bare metal install (which means no OS). Magic 8/Crystal ball is not working. Details please.

Now since you post that it’s truly HAOS install, that means a VM. Which points out that you need to look at that VM health for possible corruption
Look at this:
Check your network for DNS issues, check your ISP DNS for issues. Network (Gateway/Router) is it firewall/content rules looks for changes made between the last good update and this problematic update.
I suggest you try to run
core update --version 2026.3.2
And then check your su version, after that install OS 17.2 and then Core 2026.4
etc. Sometimes there are Dependencies which cause one can’t update direct to latest and greatest, and SuperVisor have " End-Points " to both Core and OS
Same goes for Front-end (look up Github frontend, to get it’s various version numbers)
In random order of questions above, it is a bare metal HAOS install on a generic PC that is several years old. Memory, CPU, and storage are all below 10%. There is no VM layer other than whatever HAOS builds itself. I have no DNS issues, and other updates have succeeded since this Sup update started failing repeatedly. The system mostly works until I try this specific update which is BLOCKING most other updates like core, and os. It is also blocking a few of the app updates. All say the same thing. Sup must be updated FIRST.
Is there a way to manually download, verify, then install this update through the console? I have gone through a bunch of the console commands and found no way to do it.
Yes there is but I still haven’t seen those logs or the ping results I asked for.
How do i ping from within haos? The rest of my network pings anything. Logs will come later. This sup upgrade is blocking install of ssh!
Just out of curiosity, how/when did you get Supervisor 2026.3.2 , as your Core is 2026.2.3 ?
Normally there is no reason to manually install supervisor, as it in stall automatic, i.e in this case with core 2026.3.2
