Support for Tuya Smart Lock (Kucacci Z1) and SigMesh Gateway via Tuya Cloud API

Hello everyone,

I’m requesting support for a Tuya-based smart lock and its SigMesh Gateway to be integrated through the official Tuya Cloud API in Home Assistant.

Devices:

  1. Smart Lock – Kucacci Z1

  2. SigMesh Gateway

These devices are correctly linked in the Tuya Smart app and appear in Home Assistant via the official Tuya integration. However, they are marked as “unsupported” and do not expose any entities or controls.

Why this matters:

  • More and more smart locks are being built around Zigbee or SigMesh + Gateway setups.
  • These are energy-efficient and widely adopted.
  • Home Assistant users are unable to use these devices even though Tuya exposes them partially via the cloud.

Please consider enabling support for Zigbee/SigMesh smart locks via Tuya Cloud so that the Home Assistant integration can expose them properly.
