Switchbot integration support for SwitchBot Roller Shade

Hi, Switchbot has a very good sale for their new SwitchBot Roller Shade (SwitchBot Adjustable Smart Roller Shades: Motorized Blinds | SwitchBot US) and I would like to get one as I have not been able to find affordable roller blonds for a 62 inch window before. But the SwitchBot integration does not list this in the supported device.

Does anyone know if this is in the works?
I am willing to beta test if it is. But I would like to know before ordering one…

Same, I don’t see much support for SwitchBot. These shades seem flexible, easy to install and Matter enabled, but I don’t know how the matter integration would work with them. With them supporting Matter, does that mean that Home Assistant can manage them for automation?

Just installed mine no Bluetooth support as of yet, but an ESP32 esphome light switch sees it’s MAC Address. Hoping the owners of the switchbot intigration are working on adding it natively with Bluetooth, not looking to buy another hub and have it on my network.

I am confused about why they didn’t add Matter support to these shades. That, to me, is a huge miss.

Hello to all,
just receive news notification from Switchbot App about more devices implementation during next months.
For the Roller Shade implementation is scheduled for April 2025.
