Hi, I’m confused how Switchbot devices interact with HomeAssistant. For this example I’m using the Switchbot blind tilt which connects to HA via Bluetooth (and includes Sensors and Diagnostics [first image]) but is much slower to respond than the Matter (via Switchbot hub 2) integration [second image] but Matter doesn’t include either the sensors nor diagnostics. How are you guys dealing with instances like this? I want, of course, to have the sensors and diagnostics that Switchbot bluetooth provides in the Matter via the Switchbot hub but that’s not the case. I guess the best i can come up with is use the Matter version for control and the Bluetooth for keeping track of the battery level. Of course this kind of sucks, I much rather have all these entities under one device. Any thoughts?
I’m just new to switchbot, maybe you can integrate it with both ways?
You get the control from Matter and the sensor from BT?
I’ve seen even an MQTT integration but it seems to be relying on the Cloud, so I would be against it.
