Switchbot Relay - Using the switch and the control

Hi,
I would like to use the Switchbot Relay as an interface so that I can use the switch as a button to control actions and the relay to switch on/off a light but in a disconnected way. Using matter I don’t see anything when I connect the Switchbot Relay in a disconnected mode. I removed again the device from the Matter integration, reset it to factory, added it again in the Switchbot app, set it to the default mode again, added it again to matter, still I see nothing (no switch, no control) in the device.
So is it possible to use the Switchbot Relay somehow in HA in the way I want? Or should I switch to Shelly, I think there “everything” is possible :wink:

I doubt it. Unless Switchbot specifically state the switch supports decoupled mode, you’re out of luck. I’m not even sure that Matter has support for decoupled mode.

I suggest you go with Shelly

They can do it but I see it only in their app… With Matter I have no luck installing the Switchbot at all but they claim that they are HA Premium partner AFAIK… Funny…

To expect from a company that decides to brutally imitate Shelly devices, even how they are named. Just features and documentation are missing…
