Hey everyone! I was searching around for pixel rings for a weather light I am going to build and I came across this gem!
It has an esp32 on-board, 24 rgbw pixel ring, capacitive touch sensors, digital to analog converter, several grove connectors, i2c bus, and on-board programmer with micro usb. It is currently on sale for $29.95 plus shipping. Here is a 10% off coupon code -10OFF
I had considered that, opaque plexiglass could be an option for enclosure use , depends how bright they are. I figure I will be mounting in the top of a tall standing lamp and then could run some sensors and wires through the center of the lamp, utilizing available space.
opaque means you get no light through, but there is semi-opaque acrylic/plexiglass. Unfortunately the stuff I bought is completely opaque making it unsuitable for putting a led behind, but I am going to get some semi-opaque for doing led behind.
