I currently have Xfinity internet and I am considering switching to Century Link fiber. What things could I screw up with HA by doing this? My current setup is I have a Broadband router and a Linksys wireless router off of that. All of my HA devices are connecting to my Linksys wireless router. I am assuming all I have to do is, keep the same IP address for my wireless router and I should be fine? Of course I would have to set up all of the port forwarding rules in the new fiber modem that allow my duckdns settings and change duckdns ip address once I get the fiber modem set up. I am wondering if anyone has done this? What else should I be looking at, I dont want to mess this up.
