Likely an easy question, but I’m not finding an answer. Does the system monitor integration work on Docker installations?
I am currently on a supervised install but looking at alternatives after the deprecation. I ran Docker in the past and never got the system monitor in place. I don’t know and can’t remember if that was due to something with my install or if it’s just not possible.
HA OS is not ideal for me, so Docker will likely be my best bet at first. Also, highly likely I just roll with supervised until it breaks somehow. Just want a backup plan.
Based on your question, I added the integration, enabled all the sensors and it the majority of them seems to work in my docker setup.
Although some of the info is based on the underlying server and not what’s been allocated to the container i.e. memory - I’ve allocated a 4Gb to the container but the integration is showing the server memory of 128Gb
Same goes for Load averages, that is for the server and not the container.
IP Addresses and packets per-interface is for the container
