I’ve recently switched over to Tado CE integration to handle my new Tado V3+ and I’m having a weird sync issue that I can't get to the bottom of.
Basically, writes work perfectly. If I change the temperature on my Home Assistant card, the thermostat and the Tado app update almost instantly. But the reads are broken. In fact, the only way I can force it to update is when I reboot Home Assistant. If I press the dial on the V3+ thermostat or change the temp in the Tado app, the Home Assistant card doesn't move at all. It just stays stuck on the old value.
I've checked my entities and I'm I think I am using the one from the integration (climate.kitchen_tado_thermostat).
My setup/settings:
- Galaxy S25 Ultra (Frequent Sync is ON, HA app is unrestricted).
- Home State Sync is currently OFF (I don't want to blow my API quota, and the tooltip says turning it off affects location frequency?).
- Overlay Sync is enabled in the advanced settings.
It feels like the integration is deaf to any changes that don't originate from HA itself. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a specific toggle I’ve missed that forces the cloud state to sync back to the local HomeKit entity?
