Tado Homekit integration missing devices

Hi. I purchased Tado kit before they introduced the API call rate limit. I am currently building from scratch a new HA installation, and went with the Tado Homekit integration. I have the following:

  • internet bridge
  • wireless receiver paired to a remote sensor
  • four smart thermostats (one paired to a remote sensor)

On importing the Tado internet bridge via Homekit, I am only seeing the internet bridge and three smart thermostats. Is this a fault in the Tado Homekit implementation, or a limitation elsewhere.

I am also aware of the home/away limitation in Homekit.

It all works fine (except for the API rate limiting) on my original HA server, using the regular Tado cloud integration.

Many thanks for any insight.

[Yes, if I knew how Tado were going to abandon us, I would have bought a different product but I've made the investment now]

Update: I removed and re-added the Tado bridge in the Homekit integration, and this time it found all the devices. So now it's just a question of how I set home/away mode?

Just to close this one off, I've ended up installing the cloud integration with polling turned off, and the homekit integration which will update temperatures etc. Hacky, to be sure, but cost effective.
