Is there a way for a user to define new optional tags to choose from?
HA Core grows with external apps added to it. In most cases you can’t tag a thread accordingly.
Tags where?
Do you not see the “Create” option…?
If not, then there may be a custom setting requiring a certain trust level.

No, I don’t see that. My trust level is “Member”.
OK, so tags here in the forum. No, Members cannot add them. What are you looking to add for what reason?
For example discussions around LCN, which used to be a separate integration but has recently been added to Core.
