Tailscale integration asks for new key every few days

There is, and so far the maintainer Frenck has not responded to the issue. I think he is one of the main devs for HA so I wouldnt be surprised if he hasn’t had an opportunity to look into it yet.

As of this morning, getting new key isn’t even working. Last coupe months it would expire after only a couple days and I would just update the key again

Now its saying there is an issue. Anyone else getting this?

Same here. Tried generating new key, but still getting issue

If you look at decides like where you go to try reloading there’s an error about a mile long . At least for me . Update gonna be needed I assume

Same issue here… I gotta stay away from this place for a week or so soon and I’m getting worried I can’t access remotely and my automations stop working…

Yep, I still have this issue. I have noticed - even though it says its expired in Home Assistant, the VPN continues to work.
It does make me nervous though when I leave the country travelling.

yes, what fails is not the auth of the vpn itself, but just the management. I have followed the idea from tailscale integration : asks for API key every other day, sometime even multiple times per day · Issue #150997 · home-assistant/core · GitHub and created an automation to reload the integration in case it goes down.

I thought I was going crazy. I see its not just me. Been happening for about 2 months. Then for a week or two it seemed ok again and now again every other day I need to add a new key.
