Is anyone else seeing this? I can confirm there are a few others with this issue.
I had this happen a few moths ago after a Tapo firmware update. It stripped all of my cameras of the ability to use in HA and really pissed me off as I spent hours trying to revert back and try multiple proposed workarounds. I was so pissed that I gave all of them away and bought an alternative brand. I'll never buy TP-Link/Tapo products again. I should have set my expectations to match the cost... Low. Lesson learned.
I can confirm that toggling the "Third-party Compatibility" switch off, then on worked for me, but it will not accept the Camera Account credentials. I tried deleting and recreating the camera account; no dice.
