Tapo Integration no more working

Hi
After updating HA Core, HA OS, HACS Version 2.0.5. Tapa Cameras Control 7.1.25
Tapo Camera V520WS V2.0 FW 1.2.7

My Tapo Integration is no more working.
It requires additionaly to the camera password like before also the cloud(user) password. Unfortunately it generates error that cloud password is wrong, what is not correct.

What can I do, to get it back to work?

I already found old Topics with the same problem, but didn’t understand what was the solution..

All your support and answers are very appreciated.

I’m running the integration with the same version and I have 3 cameras on there that are working fine.

But:
I have the same issue and error message when I try to add a fourth camera - I have an unused one that hasn’t had a firmware update for a while. I’ll give that one a try and report back.

Just added my unused camera and it worked on the first try - it’s a C100 running firmware version 1.4.2.

But the strangest thing is, that - as soon as I got the unused camera added into the integration - the one I previously tried worked as well on the first re-try (although it’s firmware version 1.9.1 - also a C100)

had the same problem. Changed my tplink password and everything went well

According following manual of GitHub, Reseting Camera and Third Party Compatibility OFF/ON solved the problem

These steps apply even if camera worked before, and now does not (for example, after firmware update).

After every step, test if camera works in HA, and after each step try checking Third-Party Compatibility off and on again.

  1. Ensure you have Third Party Compatibility turned on in official Tapo app on your smartphone.Tapo App → Me → Third-Party Compatibility → On
  2. Try checking Third-Party Compatibility off and on again and opening the camera via Tapo App, while being on the same network as the camera is.
  3. Reset your password.
  4. Make sure your camera can access the internet.
  5. Reboot your camera a few times.
  6. Reset the camera. Remove it from your account, do a factory reset, add it back with internet access, add it back to the integration.
  7. If all of this fails (unlikely) repeat from step 1, wait a few hours and try again.
