Tapo P100 plug unavailable and overheat

Hi

I have two Tapo P100 plugs that exhibit a behaviour of frequently becoming unavailable and overheating.

It is supposed to be on for less than 10 minutes per day (controlled by Home assistant automation), but I can see in the Tapo app that it’s been on for an average of about 1 hour per day, which I think is because it is turned on and then becoming unavailable and not reachable when Home assistant turns it off.

Any idea what could be the cause of this behaviour and how to fix it?
The plugs seems to work ok apart from this.

I’m having the same issue with a P110 I recently purchased. 2 P110 that I purchased a year ago don’t have this issue.

The one with issue is controlling different type of load?
Anyway, correctly configured devices save the program in the memory and work independently from HA.

Yes, all three are controlling different types of loads.

If you have inductive load like motor, fan, pump etc, you can use snubber to absorb the spikes.
