I'm searching for a smart lock. I've narrowed the options down to two: Tedee GO 2 and Yale Linus L2 lite. Does anyone have a comparison between those or have an opinion on one of these?
Both are retrofit options, both can integrate using Matter-over-Thread to integrate with HA (no bridge required), both use Bluetooth to unlock when approached, both use non-rechargeable batteries.
One downside of Yale L2 lite is the lack of a native door sensor that detects door closure and then locks. But I want to use a 3rd-party Zigbee or Matter door sensor anyway and use HA to automate locking after the door closes (since the Tedee one is pretty expensive).
As owner of a tedee go + bridge + keypad pro I looked them both up. While I’m pretty happy with my setup I do think (based on the info on their websites the Yale would be the better choice. I used to have a Dana lock and for me the tedee was already a step up. It has a better app and calibration than Dana. Also the tedee is a little more quiet.
The tedee does not have any downsides, only the keypad has. I can’t use the keypad for anything else than the lock. There is no possibility to make keypad interaction visible in HA.

The brand has a longer and better reputation. And because it is cheaper. I guess
