This one is wireless:
I have not personally used either of the Amazon ones, I use a Perle IOLAN SDG2 W. The 1 port version looks to be on eBay for around $280. The Perle serial are much more expensive.
Thanks! I'll check them out.
The Tekmar documents for the 482 Gateway show they support 541 thermostats. I have two of them and they are not detected by the 482 integration. I have a 483 Gateway also and those two 541s are detected there. Is this a known issue?
I should add I have two 545s, two 546s, and one 547 working fine with the integration.
@WillCodeForCats I have a Tekmar 483 (Ethernet bridge) laying around. Any idea if your integration could be easily adapted to communicate via the 483 as opposed to 482? Documentation seems to be pretty scarce, but I was able to get a monitor and keyboard working on the gateway, and it appears to be a database server of sorts with a web-based front end utilizing some older Ruby code. I’m curious how close this is to the setup of the 482. Also discovered there’s an open high-numbered port that appears to stream the tN4 bus in real time…
