Tellstick Add-on not working in Debian Buster?

Fresh install of HA Supervised on Debian 10 Buster. Not able to get Tellstick add-on working. Worked fine in my previous Ubuntu 18.04 install.

Had to re-compile telldus-core from source and install manually to get it working in Debian. Works fine from command line with tdtool. But Home Assistant is not able to find Tellstick. Any ideas?
