Home automation is pretty new to me so bare with me while I badly explain the issues I am having and probably use the wrong terms.
I recently bought some Wifi Tuya smart temperature and humidity sensors, specifically these ones.

It was the no hub required, compatible with Alexa and intelligent linkage features that sold it to me. However I could never get them added tot he smart life app and after a bit of reading I learnt that I do in fact need a gateway hub so I ordered this one, and I am now very slowly learning just what Zigbee is.
So now I have all three sensors connected and working, but this brings me onto the first issue that I am having. They only seem to be reporting changes to temperature and humidity every hour, on the hour. It is not much use checking the smart life app only to find out what the temperature was an hour ago. Also the time is an hour out despite the correct time zone being set, maybe there is a daylight saving setting somewhere that I haven’t found? Though this is really a secondary issue.
The second issue relates to the ‘compatible with Alexa’ and ‘intelligent linkage’ features. I assumed this would allow me to use these sensors to trigger other devices, but maybe I have this wrong.
For example one sensor I have in my bike shed which suffers from condensation, so in there I have a fan heater plugged in via a tapo smart plug. So I can already turn this on remotely via Alexa or using the Tapo app, but hat I would really like to do is have the sensor trigger this automatically when the humidity reaches a certain level.
I can see that I can create scenes to use the sensor to trigger an event, but none of my Tapo smart switches are available as devices to be run. Similarly, I can create routines in the Alexa app to turn on the Tapo smart plug, but the temperature sensors are not available as something to trigger the routine. Is there any way to get the two systems to talk to each other?
