Template Sensor fails to load

Hi,
I have a template sensor:

sensor:
  - platform: template
    sensors:
      lastkoll_temp:
      value_template: '{{ state.sensor.Kollektortemperatur.state }}'

that fails to load with error:

Mär 23 12:46:11 raspberrypi hass[26256]: 2018-03-23 12:46:11 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.config] Invalid config for [sensor.template]: expected a dictionary for dictionary value @ data[‘sensors’][‘lastkoll_temp’]. Got None
Mär 23 12:46:11 raspberrypi hass[26256]: expected a dictionary for dictionary value @ data[‘sensors’][‘value_template’]. Got ‘{{ state.sensor.Kollektortemperatur.state }}’. (See ?, line ?). Please check the docs at https://home-assistant.io/components/sensor.template/

When I test
{{ state.sensor.Kollektortemperatur.state }}
in the template section in the developer tools in the frontend then it shows me a value like 36.5.

So what I’m doing wrong?

Should be states.sensor…

{{ states.sensor.kollektortemperatur.state }}

Thanks, I tried “states” before, but I now found that the indenting in front of ‘value_template:’ was missing, correct:

sensor:
  - platform: template
    sensors:
      lastkoll_temp:
        value_template: '{{ state.sensor.Kollektortemperatur.state }}'
