Tesla Powerwall 2, Zappi and Octopus/EDF

Hi,

Firstly I wanted to point out that I’m a complete beginner, so please bear with.

I’m in the U.K. and I managed to get my hands on a raspberry pi to run home assistant and got that all set up and running ok.

The aim was to automate my powerwall2 backup reserve state to prevent it discharging into the car during a smart charging session. This is particularly an issue now that my new car is going to have a 108kwh battery, and we have 2 EVs so often take it in turns to charge. Until now I’ve been using Netzero to do this but I want to cut down on my monthly subscriptions.

I saw all the GitHub pages as well as various other things I’ve found via google and followed all their instructions only to hit an issue with Tesla API tokens.

From what I can see, Tesla have changed their API access?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to set up the PW2 with HA to automate this, and whether they could talk me through it please?
