Tesla run HomeLink action

Hello everyone. I was able to integrate the Tesla so far. Ask; Is it possible to run HomeLink (garage door) via HA? Thank you!

The Tesla integration (custom) or the native Tessie?

Tessie has a button, although it does nothing here (as I don’t have the homelink hardware in my Tesla)

I`ve the tesla custom integration…But I will check it with tessie…
thanks

I have both the custom and tessie installed.

Look in the custom integration (in devices and services) and look under Controls, then click “+3 entities not shown” and in mine it is under there.

You mean in the list of Entities, right?;
Unbenannt

Even if I show them all, I can’t find any with “HomeLink”

thanks

Well you need to click on ‘2 Devices’ and look at the ‘Controls’

Hi,
now I can see this one. Unfortunately it is deactivated, even if I activate it via “entities”, it remains deactivated…

Click on enable

I try this:

but it doesn’t activate…

it always says unavailable…

thanks

Are you sure you have a homelink device in your Tesla?

Seems like a bug in the custom integration or something changed in Tesla’s API. I had Homelink working from Home Assistant for a few years (although I rarely used it), but recently noticed the same issue (it is deactivated and no longer works).

Since this is a custom integration, I might suggest reporting this issue on GitHub: Issues · alandtse/tesla · GitHub

Or forget about Homelink (and myQ) and get ratgdo instead.

Yep, custom integration, bugs to the GitHub.

I assume you’re suggesting it’s possible to run a command against the ratgdo integration from Tesla? Can you elucidate?
