Testing out migration to VM

I’m using Supervised on an old Intel dual core Datto device currently. Since Supervised will no longer be officially reported, I thought I’d see how difficult it is to move to the HAOS platform. I spun up a VM on UnRaid using the qcow2 file I downloaded from the HA website. After starting the VM, I was prompted for the setup. I uploaded my current backup and waited. After running all night, the login screen doesn’t come up. I can get to the OS and see all the docker containers are running. Is there another method that would be easier? This one has failed twice.

Go through onboarding (create a user etc…) Then go to settings → systems → backup. Upload your backup with the 3 dots in upper right corner. Then restore from that screen.

(and try with an un-encrypted backup)
