That is not true. Zigbee and Thread both uses 2.4GHz on the ZBT-2 (so think might be confusing Zigbee or Thread with Z-Wave and the ZWA-2 adapter which does use Sub-GHz frequencies).

@matthewcbyington while in theory there could be a little interference between Zigbee and Thread adapters those both uses low-power radios that send very short messages at low bandwidth, so in a real-world scenarios you do not need to worry about Zigbee and Thread interfering with each other.

Now what you do need to worry about is keeping Wi-Fi radios, USB 3.0 devices/cables (like external harddrives) and any electical appliances or power-supplies too close to Zigbee/Thread radios.
