It has much better reception compared to any other Zigbee Coordinator radio adapters currently on the market, which means that more of your Zigbee devices will be able to connect directly to it for a more stable connection, and that in turn means that your other Zigbee devices that connect to those in your Zigbee network mesh will have fewer ”hops” between them and the Zigbee Coordinator (that is connected to the Zigbee gateway application which is ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT).
If you use the ZHA integration then it also offers easier maintainence with automatic firmware updates that been tested by ZHA developers (who are the same developers that build the firmware for it).
However, regardless if migrate to this, some other Zigbee adapter or stay with your existing adapter you will want to make sure you have/add plenty of mains-powered devices that act as Zigbee routers/repeaters if you want a robust Zigbee network, because Zigbee signals still have relativly short range and poor wall penetration so it is designed to rely/depend on having a strong/large ”mesh network” for message relaying between devices.
