Hi I am trying to set up smartthings integration and it keeps aborting with error There are no available SmartThings Locations to setup in HomeAssistant.
Can someone please help?
Did you find a solution? My Smartthings integration stopped for no apparent reason about a week or so ago, so I’ve been trying to reconnect it, and I’m getting the same message.
Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
bumping this, I have the same problem.
Hi Sorry I can’t remember what I did. I should have updated here for future reference. I think you have to add a new location in your smartthings app and try again to link that location.
In the Smarthing App on your phone, go to Automations and select the Home Assistant automation. Click, it and then click done. You may need to click allow or done one more time. Then reload your automation and it should work.
I found the solution by using this web-app: https://api-browser-plus.pinsky.us//
Thanks @kevank this pointed my in the right direction for a fix.
For anyone else landing here, this was what worked for me.
I went in the SmartThings App and then to Routines. You should see “Home Assistant” under the title “SmartApps”. I tried to open and click done as suggested by @kevank but it did not work for me.
I then opened it again and deleted it by clicking the three dots at the top.
Finally I went to HA and added the SmartThings integration again and my devices all re-appeared.
@ CurtisUk That worked for me. Thanks.
