I’m trying to create a thermostat that takes into account the heating in my house based on the indoor temperature, the apparent temperature, and a factor I’ve calculated. Calculations for this are very difficult because you have to determine the heating start time.
Hasn’t there been a clever idea in HA to do this with an integration, or a thermostat that incorporates a heating curve in its calculations?
I think I’m a fairly experienced HA user now, but building this kind of system is a bridge too far for me. Hence my question.
Not that I know of.
But what does this heating curve make for difference?
Let’s say the temperature is 19, and the setpoint is 20, when will the heating switch of based on this curve?
You could possibly “fake” the temperature to be the curve and thus it will react differently
