I mean, the Enemy. I haven’t updated since March, but somehow they managed to change addon_2ad9b828_ebusd to app_2ad9b828_ebusd and mess up my boiler control. I thought the ebus adapter was broken and I’d have to replace it.
I posted this on Social because it’s not a big deal but I find the idea of You-Know-Who constantly plotting to get us, poor users, very funny
IS that an Official app ?, Or Community app ? , Or “something” entirely different ?
Did you forget to un-click, Autoupdate ? Or Has the author simply “forced” an “update to current App-folder” ? ( All “former addons” will eventually end up in the App-Folder )
So either You Update HA, or get use to the fact That App-Authors Will follow the “guidelines” , to comply with this new structure
I didn’t update anything. I think Supervisor updated itself and changed the add-on/app container names. I also think it restarted my HA (or HA crashed; I noticed an unexpected restart but I was too lazy to investigate).

Doing this suddenly at 6 a.m. on an online server is a bit unexpected, hence my little joke. They changed add-ons to apps quite a while ago; I wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition.
Maybe you were just tired, or not have a habit to read Release Notes.
I certainly was “aware” before it “happened” and first thing i did after restart, was i checked my Samba-share folders … just out of curiosity
