I’m new to Home Assistant and I’m trying to stumble my way through it. I have a Third Reality, Inc 3RSP019BZ that is supposed to have power monitoring, but I can’t find where the real time power is.
I’m trying to get this to work with my clothes washer so I can tell when it’s finished a wash cycle.
Thanks
Hello Dave,
I believe those are zigbee based. Have you established a zigbee network yet?
Yep, I have a Sonoff dongle. I’m running HA on a Pi 5. I have a 3rd Reality vibration sensor working. I’m trying to figure out a new sensor type.
Thanks,
Dave
Is it ZHA?
Click here and find the device.
Then click on it. You will see the entities that were created. Some may be hidden and you can enable them if you need them. Then you know the device name you are looking for when doing the automation. You can copy the entity name or just look it up again in the automation editor when you set up the thing you want to do.
You may want to look at this as well, it might be easier for you.
📳 Appliance Notifications & Actions - Washing Machine - Clothes Dryer - Dish Washer - ETC.
Thanks for the response! It is ZHA. I can find the device easily enough (I only have a couple.) It looks like not all of the sensors are being loaded. Some more digging shows it is being created as a “3RSP019BZ” when it should be “3RSP02028BZ” which is what is printed on the device.
The article looks great! Thanks for sharing.
Dave
I heard back from Third Reality support. They have no idea why it’s reporting wrong and they offered to send a new one. I have already started a return with Amazon.
