HA setup bare metal installation with a Sonoff dongle.

I setup thread yesterday, I added 1 device and it worked fine, I came to add the next device and it came up with this but the connected device still worked.
Lemme guess, an Android phone? With the same problem many others are experiencing with a faulty Android Matter onboarding process?
The workaround is ugly, and involves your faulty phone software, not HomeAssistant. Be sure to make a verified backup before issuing the wipe to factory settings command. More detailed information in other threads.

Any IPv6 networking issues? Are you logged in as an administrator account in HomeAssistant?
I think I’ve sussed it, there was some issue with the WiFi settings on my phones. I’m not 100% sure if it’s all working properly as I’ve had other things to do
I would delete what is now a stale Thread 81eb (if it is still there).
For the 893c click on the 3-dots and select (something like) for use with iOS/Android. Then take one of your iPhones that you have not previoulsly done the "send credentials to phone" performed, and then perform the "send credentials to phone".
BTW, for your initial "Failed to save thread entwork credential error....does not match..." if you successfully commissioned a device and next time you get this error, just tap "continue" and commissioning should still work.
