After upgrading to 2025.5.3 (or at least with error timing), I have three integrations that have broken: SmartThings, Metorologisk Institutt and Litter Robot. Digging into the logs, I noticed a consistent error between the three, which was a failure to connect to https://cognito-idp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/. This would not appear to be related to the update on the surface, but it did happen around the same time so maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe a multi-day outage at AWS or maybe this site no longer exists and the integrations just need to update, I’m not sure.
Anyone else running into this and have any potential insights?
I was able to resolve the issue by restoring a backup from 2025.5.2, which rolled the core back to that version. Everything came up right away after it booted. So it’s something with 2025.5.3. Sigh, only using HA for about 2 months with not much in it and already an update breaks things.
I had the same issue and solved it with the same solution. Nevertheless, subsequent updates do HA resulted in the same problem… I really need Smarthings integration and I’m a bit concerned that I might not be able to use it with versions later than 2025.5.2… I haven’t even tried to update to 2025.6.1. version. Does anyone know if it’s still breaking Smartthings integrtion?
