I have two different AC units and thermostats, one is showing a small clock badge. What is if for? The thermostat has no schedules, etc.
Believe that indicates idle for hvac_action. It would be a flame if it was heating/snowflake for cooling.
Ah, interesting the other AC (a mini-split) doesn’t have that. Or any badge for that matter, when it’s running.
Plus that badge should go away when the system of off…
I have exactly the same setup (hybrid gas furnace/electric heat pump in house and electric heat pump minisplit in the garage) and also have the badge affixed to the icon only for the house. I wish there were a way to turn off the badge or at least make it consistent for both climate entities. I don’t think the solved answer is correct because as the OP screenshot shows, the furnace is running and the badge shows the grayed-out clock (not the flame, as was suggested).
It is not heating in the initial screenshot. The tile says idle / off.

I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out. Do you know why one climate entity but not another would display the badge?
