After repairing my old Time Capsule I’ve decided to monitor it better and created a small integration for that.
If you’ve got an old Apple Time Capsule still running as SMB storage (thanks to TimeCapsuleSMB), here’s an integration to bring its hardware sensors into Home Assistant: internal + external temperatures, fan speed, and the drive’s full SMART attribute table plus an overall health status.
Requires SSH enabled on the Time Capsule via TimeCapsuleSMB, and its admin password. Available via HACS.
May also work on an AirPort Extreme — untested, feedback welcome.
