Toggle helper missing (greyed out)

I need to create aan input_boolean entity for an automation, but the ‘toggle’ option is missing from the ‘create helper’ menu. It’s not actually missing, but it’s just greyed out.

I have default_config: in my configuration.yaml. Adding ‘input_boolean:’ to it doesn’t help unfortunately.
I’m running Home Assistant OS core version 2026.1.1

I would delete this, restart, and then create these in the UI where you are looking for them.
