@yvertman , sorry to hear that. Can you change log level on esphome yaml file to VERBOSE and send me a log file of the board. It would be ideal if you could turn the system on and off from the remote control, change temp or fan speed, say I can see what’s going on. 2 minutes of logs or less would be enough
Actually, what were the error messages that you saw initially? I just realised I introduced a bug in the code a couple of days ago that prevented all commands to be sent. It should now be fixed.
What was your issue? Did the status show on ha?
Thanks a lot for giving me a hand. Here is the YAML for my configuration, and here is the log in VERBOSE mode for a few moments while I was operating the wired remote controller.
Hi again, just a quick one: did you use my board as designed? I can see that you invert the UART pins, unless you have made some modifications in the design, the pins should not be inverted and will prevent the system from working properly.
Hi Julien and Miquel,
does anybody still have a Board, that he could sell to me? I am interested, sited in Germany.
You could contact me here or mail me via:
thx!
Hi Karsten, I don’t have any more boards left; however, I have just ordered some more today with an improved design. I will post details soon on the project github. I should be able to send you one when I get them.
Hi Miquel, I was wondering if you had success with your improved design and if you had any spare I could buy from you? my A/C has a TCB - SC642TLE2 main panel I hope to control. Thank you in advance.
Hi Dominic, yes the new design seems to work very well with the compatible systems. Given your system remote, looks like it should be fully compatible with the TCC link protocol. Have a look for explanation on the repo.
I can send you a complete populated board for $50 (Australian) or 30 euro, including shipping. Just need your details, including email and phone for postage tracking. And I could send you a PayPal request or give you an IBAN, depends where you are.
