TP-Link camera only updates every 5 minutes

I just bought a cheap TP Link camera, the C100. My idea was to point it at my back door and use motion detection and object recognition to detect if my dog is standing there waiting to come in. I set it up the integration pretty easily, and set up DOODS for object detection and it mostly works. Except, the snapshot for the camera only updates every 5 minutes. I can click on the live view and watch the stream fine, but the snapshot, and therefore what DOODS runs its processing on, only updates every 5 minutes.

I set it up as the Generic Camera integration and it works fine.
