TP-Link HS300 Power consumption reported on id for different recptical

I’ve got an TP-Link Kasa HS300 with 6 receptacles. I use it for my aquarium if that matters. I’ve got 2 heaters and I would like to monitor the power usage so that I can detect if one heater fails. I have one heater in receptacle 1 the other in receptacle 2. When I flip the switches for the receptacles in Home Assistant both receptacles work correctly switch 1 toggles receptacle 1, etc. The issue is with the power use reporting. The power usage from receptacle 2 gets reported in the entities related to receptacle 1, while there is no power information reported by the entities related to receptacle 2. I’ve removed and re-added the HS300 several times. Restarted HA and rebooted the system several times as well.

Any assistance would be very helpful.
Thanks.

I have several of these, and they are not very reliable in energy monitoring.

Are you using the tplink app? does it report the same energy use? if so then it sounds like a bad power strip.
