TP-link router not working as tracking device after 0.5x release

Since version 0.5x was released I cannot use my TP-Link TL-WR1043ND v1 router anymore as a tracking device. IP is correct and login credentials are correct (it used to work before). Hass cannot make a stable connection with the router and gives met de message: Connection reset by peer

Did something change in the 0.5 release?

I dont know much about the TP-link router but I troubleshooted this issue by the help of Netgear technical support
