I installed HA several months ago, and just now starting to us it

I think (or hope) I found the Smart Plugs I want to use. I purchased a 4 pack of TP-Link Tapo P110M.

It has every thing I want, specifically power monitoring and automatic power recovery after power failure. It even has a few things I didn’t think about like uptime. The one thing I don’t like about the power monitoring is that it doesn’t retain previous power consumption information after a power failure. We had some thunderstorms today which caused a power failure, when I checked, all power consumption information from before the power failure is gone. Will HA retain this information? I did not yet have it added to HA when the power failed. If HA will not retain this information is there a plug that will, even if it requires a battery of some kind, preferably one the plug can recharge.

Is it possible to add uptime to the overview of in the room where the plug is assigned? Is it possible to easily move the devices in the room overview so they are in the order I want them.

Tapo Matter plugs are Matter over Wifi, not Matter over Thread.

I’ve still got a couple of P110M plugs in Home Assistant.
Home Assistant will store historical data from the Tapo plugs after a power cut, but check that the data you want to view/keep is actually available if you connect them to HA using Matter over wifi.

My P110M plugs are connected to HA using the normal Tapo integration, using just wifi/cloud.
Some devices don’t expose all the entities if connected by Matter.
