TPLINK HS100 and HS110

I’ve looked at previous postings , a lot of comment but no solutions I could see
I have both a TPlink HS100 and a HS110, both have been working fine since installation a couple of years ago, now both are showing unavailable since this morning.
I’ve updated HA as it was on V104 , it should now be on v118,
there’s no problem with the wifi , the TPLINK devices are within 4mtrs of the hub
Also I have 2 smart bulbs , both are showing connected to the hub, but HA is not updating the status from not_home to home on those.
OS is ubuntu 20.04 on a Odroid XU4 SBC( unit is headless)
anything known ??

I’ve 5 or 6 of their sockets around my house, and have had for several years now. From what I can see, they’ll drop out occasionally. Not all at once, and with no logic that I can see. I have a bulb as well, but I don’t use it currently so can’t report on that.
A restart sometimes gets them back online, sometimes not, other times they pop back online on their own. I have the Kasa app on my phone and despite HA reporting them as offline, they still interact fine with Kasa. So it may be something to do with the HA integration, it’s been an issue for a while as far as I can see.

I had the same issue and I declared them manually in configuration.yaml like this:

#
# TP-Link
#
tplink:
  discovery: false
  switch:
    - host: 192.168.2.18
    - host: 192.168.2.95
    - host: 192.168.2.96

At the same time I moved away from the HS100 devices to move to Sonoff devices more reliable from a connection point of view (I just kept the three HS110)… With these two steps, I drastically reduced the “unavailability” problems… I did not have any problem as far as I know since months…

Thanks , I suspect a HA issue, but I guess as its long term issue Its not going to fixed.
I’ll just keep playing and hope I find a resolution
