Tradfri remaining disabled after shutting down, never waking up

Hi all,

Yesterday I coupled some old (2017 or sth) IKEA Tradfri remotes with HA and Zigbee2MQTT (using USB Sonoff Dongle). They worked great, I could see events! However, one day later, they do not communicate with HA any longer. In Zigbee2MQTT they show up as “Disabled”, and I can’t reactivate them from the UI.

I pressed buttons on all of them, they do not respond in HA. However, one does work: it turns my IKEA light on and off (which is also unintended since I thought I had unpaired it from the light).

Actually one remote is seen by HA and it is installing a new firmware version. Others still are not.

Is it a common issue?

A light bulb is connected as Z2M device in HA and it works great, is getting commands from HA properly.

Thanks!

How many zigbee router (mains powered) devices do you have on your zigbee mesh?

Just one for the moment (one IKEA tradfri bulb)

Update: I found out that they do indeed get detected by Z2M (in the logs of the WebUI of Z2M I see log entries whenever I click - I was looking in the wong place, i.e. the device settings of MQTT in Settings → Devices → MQTT.

That said, I don’t get why the object still shows up as disabled, and also I can’t update the Firmare because the object does not respont to OTA?
