I have a very stable system here but because SWMBO is suggesting that we build another house (our sixth build) I am getting HAOS working on a NUC and I will take my existing (more powerful) docker-compose setup to the new house.
Most of the WiFi devices can run fine on two systems at the same time (except the MQTT devices and the Shelly motion sensors with CoIoT). They are straightforward to change over though.
I have 20 devices on my current ZHA mesh and am wondering if shifting the ZHA dongle will retain the pairing or will I have to repair all 20 devices (quite a few of them are switches in the flush boxes and although I am an electrician by trade and very competent to do it, it would be great if the pairing is retained in the dongle).
I suppose I could just try it and see but there is already a wealth of knowledge in this community.
Thanks, Rob
