Triggering rate of automation

I have an automation that I’m triggering to help me track down a potential water leak at home. The automation triggers when my water pump starts.

Is there a way to identify the rate of triggers of the automation. ie: I’d like something like a sensor that holds the number of times the automation has triggered for the last 60 minutes from whenever I look at it.

I know I could set a counter, but can’t see how it’d work for me. any other thoughts?
