Hi,

I have created an addon for TriliumNext Notes, the successor of Trilium, which is in maintenance mode since a while.

This is my first addon and I am not a dev, so if there is anything I did badly wrong, please tell me :sweat_smile:
Currently the startup takes quite long and I have no idea if this is a config fault on my side.
It was not always like this but I could not find out why. :man_shrugging:

Installation

  1. Add repository to your Home Assistant addon repositories:

    Open your Home Assistant instance and show the add add-on repository dialog with a specific repository URL pre-filled.

    • Click Add

  2. Find the “TriliumNext Notes” addon and install it.

  3. Start the addon.

Initial Configuration

When running for the first time, the stup will start. Please note:

  • Important: During initial setup, TriliumNext Notes will display the IP address and port of Home Assistant. This is normal behavior caused by Home Assistant’s ingress system.

  • Ignore the displayed URL and instead use the Home Assistant interface to access TriliumNext Notes (via the addon or sidebar).

  • Create a user for and set a secure password.

Btw. does anybody know how to make the options look nicer?
I could not find out how.
For example “https_only” → “HTTPS only”
