I am struggling to add the BE469 (the non z-wave + edition) to my Home Assistant instance. I have seen many posts about moving the stick to within 6" of the lock and try and add it that way. I have tried and I have some success… The lock is discovered almost immediately but when it interviews it doesn’t provide any “lock” entities. The lock still has the orange dot on the keypad blinking and eventually times out with the red X. I have attached a screen shot of what HA gives me for the device. Do I just keep trying to exclude, factory reset and reinclude?
Using JSUI on Home Assistant with an Aeotec 7 stick (most recent firmware). HA is a VM if that matters.
I used to own three of these. I’ve upgraded them all to the zp version and btw the lock cylinder is interchangeable…
Do NOT skip any steps especially the resets and reboots. Then when you’re back and the lock is in IMMEDIATELY run a repair on it after moving your HA box back.

What you’re describing is it got a pairing but not secure paired and then everything breaks down because that lock only works in s0 (the original Be469 anyway)
