I have various older Android tablets that have trouble displaying video streams. My doorbell camera’s main stream is h.264 2560x1920 and the substream is h.264 720x576. The older tablets (Lineage OS 16 and Samsung on Android 7) try to show the main stream in an advanced-camera-card, but the it generally only shows a still picture. It cannot display the main stream at all in a picture-entity card. It can display the sub stream in a picture-entity card, but it takes a while to load. It cannot display the main stream in a picture-glance card. Is there anything I can try at the OS level or any other video cards I could try? I’m trying to find something that works on the older tablets as well as my newer Android tablet and iPAD which can display everything.
