Trying to connect Alexa to EISY

Trying to connect Alexa to EISY
I read a bunch of posts, tried to follow … nothing works … I’m just lost.
Is there a guide that someone would suggest please

Is this Home Assistant related in any way?

Internet search resolved hits on Home Assistant user(s) being able to control Insteon devices with voice control. I tried to follow a few video’s where Home Assistant becomes part of the solution as a bridge, but not end to end vendor specific (via ISY / EISY)

This is a home assistant forum, so if home assistant is not in the equation, then you will probably not find the answer here.

Hone assistants mission is to work as a bridge between different vendor ecosystem.

I’ll apologize for not being clear in the manner I posted the question … I will repost accordingly

Looking for assistance / direction / guidance on how to configure Home Assistant as bridge between Insteon devices and voice control like Alexa ?

Ahh, there are today multiple ways to connect to Alexa.

The old way was to connect Alexa to home assistant by opening up ports in your router and set up a domain with an encrypted access with a certificate. It works, but many are not happy about opening up their network from the outside.

The new way is to get an Alexa Matter Hub (build into some of their devices, like smart speakers) and then have Home Assistant connect to that, which does not require opening a port in the router, getting a domain and setting up an encrypted access with a certificate.
When Home Assistant is connected to the same Matter Hub as Alexa, then it can emulate devices as Matter devices, even though they are not, so nearly anything connected to Home Assistant can then be accessible to Alexa.

Once Home Assistant is connected to Alexa, then it is just getting Insteon connected to Home assistant.
There is a core integration for that. Insteon - Home Assistant

I do not have either products, but many have one of them and some of both of them.
With Home Assistant it is not important that you have both to help you.
