TTS on HomePod - SSL error

My annoucements using HomePods stopped working a few days ago (not exactly sure when, because they do nor fire often).

The problem is i am getting an SSL error. As far as i am know i did not change anything myself which could cause this problem. I’m using NabaCasa-Cloud.

""Call-service error. HTTPSConnectionPool(host='192.168.1.10', port=8123): Max retries exceeded with url: /api/tts_proxy/f9e140bd0247721f94e09cb598ef77341cc54f70_de-de_e09b5a0968_cloud.audiooutput.mp3 (Caused by SSLError(SSLError(1, '[SSL: WRONG_VERSION_NUMBER] wrong version number (_ssl.c:1002)')))""

Any ideas which could cause this error?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. Did you get any solution since then? It seems not only tts, but any kind of media streaming is struggling when I try to use homepod as media player. My system uses nginx as reverse proxy and valid let’s encrypt cert

Thank you

I have the same issue here. Have you found a solution to it?

Thanks

It was a kind of ssl misconfiguration in my network. After setting everything up again it worked again. Sorry for not being more specific.
