Tubez coordinator ZHA problem

Was on vacation and my Tubez coordinator stopped working. Not sure what the issue is. I’ve unplugged/replugged the device’s power and ethernet cables, even tried a different port.

I have link activity but nothing is showing up in my router though. I’ve tried to do a backup of ZHA but it fails:

HA doesn’t see the coordinator so I get a loop of this:

Question: how do I not have to re-add every device back in if I can’t do the backup AND is it safe to open the coordinator and do a BSL (factory) reset?

At least one of my devices (was working) is unreachable so re-pairing might be a VERY BIG deal.

Help?

Can you ping the coordinator on your network?

Are you using a static IP or DHCP?

No. I am using a static IP but no I cannot. Doesn’t show up int he router either.

Is it PoE powered?

Can you tell what the PoE power draw is in your router

I’m using a USB to power the unit. Is it potentially POE and that’s why it’s gone?

Also, how can I backup the database?

No. Check your USB power supply.

Okay, I changed the USB power supply and now the Tubez is connecting to the router. Thanks.

Oddly, the router assigned a new IP so I’m reassigning the old one. HA discovered it and is adding it back in.

So far, only 2 devices have reconnected. Does this just take some time? Do I need to restart HA?

Devices are slowly being re-added. I’m very hopeful that everything will come back up.

Good call on the USB a/c adapter.

New question - my Tubez router was also unresponsive so I tried to re-pair the device. I tried putting it in re-pairing mode, but not sure if I held the BSL button too long or the HST (not sure what this does, I looked) by mistake.

In any case, how can I put the unit back into factory mode? Did I brick the unit? Any idea what HST stands for?

Thanks!

No idea sorry. Try reading the available documentation and if that does not help send Tubes an email.

Might be RST. In any case, I’ve reached out to Tubes. Thanks.
