@123 makes a very good and critical point. In my case, my luminance sensors are placed on windowsills away from any lamps that could adversely influence them. One is behind/underneath a sofa on the windowed sunroom, the other on the windowsill behind furniture in the upstairs hallway. Neither indoor lamps nor outdoor lighting will impact them enough to cause ill effects.
